RECYCLING: WE DONATE MONEY WHERE IT COUNTS!
Pedro's planet has made a conscious decision to give back to the communities where we recycle waste paper. The money collected from selling wastepaper to paper mills is given to two different groups; Earth Share of Missouri and Community Shares of Colorado.
They in turn distribute the funds to local groups working to protect the environment in Missouri and Colorado.
In 2007 we donated $7,000 to the two groups. We also donated over $15,000.00 to other groups working to help our Planet! That figure doesn't include hundreds of hours put in by our employees to recycle over6 600,000 pounds of waste paper over the last year!!
Both Earth Share and Community Shares have programs to donate in your workplace. It's an easy way to give and support all the wonderful people working to protect and enhance our environment.
